MAN'S WORLD ANNIVERSARY

Richard, of Man's World, celebrated a year of service in the community with a catered anniversary party. A total remodeling has changed the club. Now a roof over the outdoor patio is the latest improvement. Good luck, and a sincere wish for many more parties to celebrate added anniversaries in the future.

Club Cleveland recently held a ground breaking ceremony at their Most 32nd Street facility. Dan, the club's now manager, hosted the party attended by Jack Campbell and friends. The partygoers feasted on steak and champagne. punch provided by Ray Wolf.

Disco star, Carol Jiani, thrilled the capacity crowd at Exedra with a live performance on Krazy Tuesday, June 22. The audience's phenomenal response to her hits, "Mercy" and "Hit And Run Lover", inspired Miss Jiani to do the longest club performance she has over done. "This crowd was so great I just didn't want to get off the stage!" She lator exclaimed. For July Exedra is bringing Vicki Sue Robinson as well as The Boystown Gang to Cleveland. The cover for both shows is an incredibly lou $2. Thanks, and keep up the good work, Exedra.

SUMMERFEST '82

The Third Annual SUMMERFEST, one of the highlights of the summer in Cleveland, will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 4th and 5th. This year, as in the past, the event will be held in the enclosed parking lot next to Exedra, 1762 East 18 Street. This year the fabulous DIVINE, star of PINK FLAMINGOS and POLYESTER, will reign as the "Summerfest Queen." The Fabulous One will mix and mingle with the revelers throughout the day, Septenber 4, posing for photos with the croud and signing autographa. Later, that evening, DIVINE will be featured in a show with a number of local performers.

For those who wish to imbibe, alcoho-lic beverages will be served, at this outdoor function. Carnival-type games will add rest to the merriment. Also a dunking booth, pie throwing, flea market, clouns, pain readings and a fortune teller will be on hand on both days.

Among the food concessions available, will be chicken, ribs, Italian sausages and zesty Mexican foods served up by Zap-Zap-Zelde.

Naturally, many fun filled events will be teking place throughout the day for evryones enjoyment; including dancing, roller skating, tricycle races, mud urestling, talent shows, and various contests, such as the water balloon toss, will be held with prizes for the winners. Also, marriages will be performed and a special booth for crazy photos will be on hand.

So keep those dates open, grab a friend and come on down to SUMMERFEST 82. You'll have the time of your life there.
